The latest in our series on the uncommon criminality of the current White House and its cronies.

On December 15, 2005, former Republican National Committee New England Political Director James Tobin was found GUILTY "on two counts of telephone harassment for his role in a plot to jam Democratic phone banks on Election Day 2002 in New Hampshire.".
Turns out that, as ABC News reported on April 11, 2006, Mr. Tobin was coordinating with the White House with dozens of phone calls over the same three day period that the illegal jamming was carried out. http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=1829056 .

Mr. Tobin was convicted, despite the Republican National Committee’s payment of millions of dollars for his legal defense.

And, as it turns out, the “telemarketing firm” hired to perform the illegal jamming was paid $15,000 dollars, just a few days after Jack Abramoff and two of his clients contributed (coincidentally) $15,000 to the same campaign fund that paid for the jamming. And, wonder of wonders, Abramoff's clients had no business or presence in New Hampshire.
Let’s see:
• Republican crony commits election fraud in New Hampshire.
• The Republican National Committee pays millions for his defense.
• At the same time as the crime, the same Republican crony is on the phone non-stop with the White House.
• The crime is financed with $15,000 from a Republican election fund, just after $15,000 in checks from Jack Abramoff and two Abramoff clients to that same fund cleared.

Now connect the dots:
Does this represent evidence that high-level Republicans:
1) cheat?
2) have no respect for the democratic process?
3) will interfere with elections?
4) will break the law to retain power? Or
5) will do all of the above, if we let them?
